Kathryne Dora Brown
Writer

Raised in Los Angeles until she begged her parents to let her go to boarding school in Massachusetts, Kathryne tolerated a couple years of a Vermont college until she made the move to New York City where she attended The American Musical & Dramatic Academy. After unsuccessfully pounding the Broadway pavement for a year, Kathryne moved back to Hollywoodland, where she began her television career. Select television credits include: The Practice, Private Practice, Chicago Hope, and Becker, in addition to recurring roles on Judging Amy, Linc’s, and Promised Land. Television movies include: The Tiger Woods Story, To Dance With Olivia, For Love Of Olivia, The Wedding Dress and The Reading Room for which Kathryne won a CAMIE Award. Select theatre credits include: Marivaux’s Changes Of Heart at The Mark Taper Forum, Aeschylus' Agamemnon at The Getty Villa, and Love Loss and What I Wore at The Geffen Playhouse, The Rubicon and The Lobero Theatre.

Kathryne has written several short stories, television pilots, short and feature films scripts and is currently working on her first novel.
When she’s not writing or recording television ad voice overs, Kathryne is focused on raising two good humans: Poppy & Posy, her greatest achievements to date.
